Fashion's larger than life 

When I was young, I have always loved to draw and read Fashion magazines. I was fascinated with Fashion, and soon chose my path to become a Fashion Designer.
I realized that my dream was to be a Fashion Designer.

I was inspired by the thoughts of making clothes for people, thinking how I can transform and make each and every one of them looking elegant and beautiful.
I'd be very happy if my work could someday make a change in people's lives, satisfy them, and they would wear my work with confidence.

Apparently, My parents weren't quite happy and supportive towards my career as a Fashion Designer, they think it's a waste of time and money.

To every child, it means a lot to them and it is essential that parents support them in whatever they do.

I was discouraged. Eventually, I had to promised my parents that when I'm done with my Fashion studies, I would listen to what they say.

Deep down, that really made me sad and disappointed, until now.

Some artists such as Picasso, could spend the rest of their life painting, singing, doing the things they like to do until they die.

Why can't I be one of them ? I should stop thinking..


After all,  someone was willing to build my dream up.
She gave me a lot of chances to take up new challenges and kept encouraging me with my work.


Last year, I took part in this big fashion show here in Malaysia, called MIFW (Malaysia International Fashion Week 2010).


Standing on the stage was not easy! As I did not sleep properly for one whole month. I was working very hard to make this colorful dress which consisted
nine different colours. It was a good experience though ;P


I love what I do. And I hope I can inspire other people too 

"Life isn't that hard. It's just either Black or White."

She is one of a kind. She is the biggest name in burlesque since Gypsy Rose Lee. She tops international best-dressed lists. She is a modern day fashion icon. She is credited for bringing back the glamour and allure of Old Hollywood stars. Self-created. Distinctive. Iconic. Often imitated, never duplicated. She is Dita Von Teese.

Dita Von Teese is the stage name of Heather Renée Sweet an American burlesque model and actress.Von Teese has appeared on a number of best-dressed lists and frequents the front row of fashion shows, particularly Christian Dior and Marc Jacobs, labels she is often seen wearing.  Spring 2004, she modeled for former club kid Richie Rich's fashion label,Heatherette. In 2005 she appeared in the Autumn/Winter Ready-to-Wear show for Giambattista Valli, a former designer for Ungaro, in Paris. In the 2006 MilanFashion Week, Von Teese was on the runway, opening for the Moschino diffusion label, Moschino Cheap & Chic, autumn/winter 2006/7 show. In 2007, she appeared twice in the Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture show during the Paris Fashion Week. Additionally, she has starred in several ad campaigns. She appeared in Vivienne Westwood's spring/summer 2005 collection adverts and became the face of Australian clothing range Wheels and Dollbaby for their 2006/7 Spring/Summer advertising campaign. Currently, she is a spokesmodel for MAC Cosmetics. Von Teese has appeared in Vanity Fair, Vogue, Elle,and international issues of nearly every fashion magazine. She has also campaigned on behalf of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), and appeared in their ads. Most recently she has designed a new lingerie range with Wonderbra.

In spite of this, Von Teese states that she never uses a stylist. "The one time I hired a stylist, they picked up a pair of my 1940s shoes and said, 'These would look really cute with jeans.' I immediately said, 'You’re out of here.'" She does her own make-up, and dyes her naturally blonde hair black at home. Von Teese's unique style is "inspired by eccentric women like Luisa Casati, Anna Piaggi, and Isabella Blow."

The Bitter End 

I mean you go out and there's just nobody around and you're sort of sitting there waiting for the night bus and there's just not a soul, its really good and nobody bothers you and the buses are empty and the  tubes are empty and things like that, I mean it's such better, night's much better than day. If you're walking down the street nobody will take any notice of what you're wearing if they cant see you properly and like people wont really look at your face, things like that you know, which is pretty awesome =)
